A very nice and charming hotel. Good location with a short walk to the ski lift. The rooms are very nice and well-maintained. The staff is very friendly, and they serve an excellent breakfast buffet. In the evening, a delicious dinner is served with a wide selection of wines to choose from. The service is prompt, and the staff is friendly.
Fantastic experience at Hotel Castor for a week, food and service was brilliant, our Irish server was friendly, helpful, funny and full of character, a lovely confident young man who did his best to look after our group. Looking forward to next year
Stayed here for a week in january. Perhaps the wonderful skiing and weather affects this review but I must give all my best credit to this hotell. Wonderful settings, rooms, cleaning and service, excellent food and aExcell more than excellent staff. A special mention to waitress Svetlana in the restaurant who did everything for us to enjoy our dinners. Highly recommended and wouldn't hesitate to return here again.
This review reflects the three star status and the fact that we know there’s no sauna etc. which didn’t concern us at all. This is a lovely, traditional hotel with a great cosy bar area. Excellent choice of menu and friendly staff who go out of their way to please. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the Crest lift which may deter skiers but we deposited our skis and boots literally at the lift for €2 pp per day. We enjoyed our walks to and from the hotel so no hardship there. We will definitely return!

Very good value for money for a family weekend. Breakfast is ok. Some rooms are nicely refurbished and some are a bit old. Very clean and very helpful staff, at the reception and restaurant. Also very helpful and flexible upon booking via email.
